Congress to establish the Association of Former People's Police Officers of Phu Hoa District, term 2023 - 2028

On the afternoon of September 23, Phu Hoa District Police coordinated with the Organizing Committee for the establishment of the District People's Police Veterans Association to organize the Congress to establish the Phu Hoa District People's Police Veterans Association, term 2023-2028.

Handing over the decision of the Provincial People's Committee on allowing the establishment of the Association of Former Police Officers of Phu Hoa district. 

Attending the event were Major General Pham Van Hoa, former Director of the Provincial Police Department, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Former Police Officers; leaders of the Provincial Association of Former Police Officers; leaders of the Provincial Police Departments; in the district, there were comrade Le Ngoc Tinh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Huynh Thi Son, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; Nguyen Ba Khai, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee; Le Van Hoa, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People's Council; Lieutenant Colonel Phan Minh Duy, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Head of the District Police; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, the District Police, the District Internal Affairs Department and leaders of the Police of communes and towns.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the District Former Police Association for the 2023-2028 term.

The Phu Hoa District Former Police Association was established with 43 members, in compliance with the provisions of law, under the state management of the Phu Hoa District People's Committee, Phu Hoa District Police and agencies related to the Association's field of operation. The District Former Police Association has legal status, its own seal and account, and is self-sufficient in funding, headquarters and means of operation.

The congress is an important political event to gather and unite generations of former police officers in the district; thereby maintaining the close relationship between police officers and soldiers currently working and retired police officers, contributing to the good implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, as well as the police sector's regulations for retired police officers.

District leaders and the Provincial Association of Former Police Officers presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the District Association of Former Police Officers for the 2023-2028 term.

Speaking at the Congress, Major General Pham Van Hoa, former Director of the Provincial Police, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Former Police Officers, and Comrade Nguyen Ba Khai, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, requested the District Association of Former Police Officers to promote the qualities of "A People's Police Officer", focus on political and ideological education; protect the legitimate rights and interests of members . At the same time, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements at the grassroots level, especially the movement "Former Police Officers - For a peaceful life". Each former police officer is a shining example of revolutionary ethics and political courage for the younger generation to follow.

The Congress elected 5 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Association. Colonel Huynh Huu Lap, former Head of the Provincial Police Department's Professional Records Department, was elected Chairman of the Phu Hoa District Former Police Association for the 2023-2028 term.
