Attending the conference were Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyet, Head of the Military Department of the General Staff of the Provincial Military Command; Comrade Huynh Thi Son, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee.

During 2 days (October 15-16, 2024), the District Military Service Council conducted political and policy review for citizens preparing to join the army in accordance with the guiding documents on the selection and calling of citizens to join the army. During this period, Phu Hoa district had 5,427 citizens included in the list for political and policy review at the district level. Of these, 2,763 citizens were exempted, temporarily postponed from military service, not yet called up for military service, and reduced for other reasons; the remaining 2,664 citizens were eligible for military service health check-ups.

After review, the District Military Service Council directed the Commune Military Service Council and relevant agencies to strictly manage the quantity and quality of young people of military age ready to join the army in 2025. At the same time, widely propagate to the people about military recruitment; do a good job of political and ideological work for young people of military age; resolutely and strictly handle cases of violations of the Law on Military Service.
