Seminar to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front

On the morning of November 15, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Hoa district held a seminar to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).

Comrade Dinh Cong Thach, Standing Committee Member, Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee spoke at the seminar.

Attending the event were comrade Huynh Thi Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee; members of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; comrades working at the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee through the periods; Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes and towns.

At the seminar, delegates reviewed the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day. Inheriting and promoting the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front throughout history, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Phu Hoa district has constantly focused on consolidating and strengthening the great national unity bloc, organizing patriotic emulation movements and campaigns to create consensus in implementing socio-economic, defense and security tasks in the district.

Specifically, in 2024, the whole district mobilized more than 751 million VND from the "For the Poor" fund, reaching more than 113% of the target; mobilized more than 599 million VND for social security work, reaching 171% of the target; mobilized support for people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3 with an amount of over 901 million VND. The Fatherland Front at all levels accepted and handed over 25 newly built and repaired houses to poor households with a total amount of 1.03 billion VND; presented 9,633 gifts to the poor, people in especially difficult circumstances, ... with a total value of more than 3.6 billion VND; coordinated the organization of 117 general cleaning campaigns with 10,839 participants.

Speaking at the seminar, Comrade Huynh Thi Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the past time. At the same time, she hoped that in the coming time, the Fatherland Front at all levels would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, perform well the role of supervision, social criticism, build the great national unity bloc, contributing to the successful implementation of local socio-economic, security and defense targets.
