78th Anniversary of Luong Van Chanh High School.

At the ceremony, the delegates reviewed the teaching and learning traditions of generations of teachers and students of Luong Van Chanh School. Accordingly, responding to President Ho Chi Minh's call for "National emulation to eradicate hunger, illiteracy and foreign invaders", in 1946, the Revolutionary Government of Phu Yen province decided to establish Luong Van Chanh National High School in the inner city of Tuy Hoa at that time, in order to improve people's knowledge, train cadres and foster local talents.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tang, Chairman of the Teachers and Students Association of Luong Van Chanh School, read the opening speech.

The school officially opened its first academic year on October 15, 1946. However, after 2 months of teaching, due to the war, Luong Van Chanh School had to move to An Nghiep, An Dinh, and An Tho communes (Tuy An district). Experiencing many ups and downs in the country's destiny, the school's activities were interrupted at times.

Mr. Bui Xuan Trong, Head of the Teachers and Students Association of Luong Van Chanh School, Phu Hoa District, reported on the activities of the Association.

In 1989, when Phu Yen province was re-established, Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted was established and has been operating stably ever since. Notably, in 1989, the People's Committee of Phu Yen province allowed Luong Van Chanh School to establish the School's Teachers and Students Association. To date, the Luong Van Chanh Teachers and Students Association has had over 10,000 members, with 21 branches inside and outside the province. This is the first school in Phu Yen province to establish a voluntary professional social organization to unite, share, and gather Luong Van Chanh teachers and students with fellow Phu Yeners everywhere to work towards building Luong Van Chanh School in particular and Phu Yen in general.

Happy 80th birthday to members.

Despite many ups and downs, upholding the tradition of "Patriotism, good study, respect for teachers, love for friends", many generations of teachers and students of Luong Van Chanh School have grown up and achieved success in many fields, becoming teachers, scientists, writers, military officers and leaders at all levels and sectors.

Delegates and members attended the celebration.

On this occasion, the Teachers and Students Association of Luong Van Chanh School in Phu Yen province celebrated the 80th birthdays of its members. At the same time, the association organized a visit and incense offering at the Temple of the famous person Luong Van Chanh (Hoa Tri commune), and visited the relics of Phu Loc school (Hoa Thang commune) and Lo Tre market (Hoa Dinh Dong commune).
