On November 7, Phu Hoa District People's Committee organized a dialogue conference between the Chairman of the District People's Committee and young people in the district in 2024.

Attending the conference were comrade Huynh Thi Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; Nguyen Ba Khai, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee; leaders of agencies, departments, branches, unions of the district, communes and towns; leaders of a number of enterprises and more than 50 cadres, union members and youth in the district.

Comrade Nguyen Ba Khai, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee delivered the opening speech at the conference.

With the theme “Phu Hoa Youth – Aspiration for Development”, in the spirit of democracy, frankness and openness, the union members and young people shared their aspirations, as well as made proposals and recommendations focusing on issues such as: The District People's Committee creates conditions to help young people access social policy credit loans to support young people in starting a business. A large number of union members and young people have to go to work far away due to lack of jobs locally, many new graduates work in fields other than their training, the district needs to have mechanisms and policies to attract students to return to work in the locality after graduation. Orientation for young people to choose to develop agricultural production models suitable for the locality.

Comrade Phan Anh Quoc, Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the District Youth Union reported on the youth work activities of the district.

In addition, the youth also had a dialogue with the leaders of the district People's Committee on the fields of security and order; operating costs of the Youth Union at all levels; digital transformation and safe and effective exploitation of social networks, etc.

Young people expressed opinions, suggestions and resolutions at the dialogue conference.

The opinions, recommendations and proposals of the union members and youth were directly and specifically answered by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Hoa district and the leaders of departments, agencies and sectors. At the same time, more information was provided about the important mechanisms and policies of the district to help union members and youth have more opportunities to access support resources in the process of starting a business and establishing a career.

Speaking at the dialogue, comrade Nguyen Ba Khai, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the opinions, recommendations and proposals of the youth. At the same time, he suggested that in the coming time, local Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and unions should continue to support and create the most favorable conditions for the staff and youth union members of the district to devote their youth to the economic development of the district, participate in local Youth Union and Association activities, create jobs for young people, and create conditions for young people to develop in all aspects in the new era.
