On October 17, the Phu Hoa District Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue coordinated with the District Red Cross Society to organize a training course on disaster prevention, control and search and rescue in 2024.

Attending the training course were Mr. Nguyen Huu Suu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society; leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the District Red Cross Society and leaders of communes and towns.

At the training course, 45 trainees who are members of the rescue teams of communes and towns were taught and instructed on measures and skills in search and rescue and first aid for injuries such as: assessing and practicing first aid for victims according to procedures; first aid for respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest; first aid for bleeding, shock; first aid for broken bones; techniques for moving victims in an emergency and safely..

Through training, the aim is to help rescue forces master the necessary measures and skills in search and rescue, and respond to accidents and injuries; help local authorities improve their capacity to prevent natural disasters, search and rescue, and apply them flexibly and creatively to real-life situations occurring in the locality, in order to minimize damage caused by natural disasters.
