Summary of the implementation of social insurance and health insurance targets in the first 9 months of 2024

On the afternoon of September 20, Phu Hoa District People's Committee held a conference to review the implementation of social insurance and health insurance targets in the first 9 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 3 months of 2024.

Attending the meeting were comrade Ho Phuong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Insurance. In the district, there were comrade Bui Van Kim, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; Dinh Cong Thach, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of mass organizations, relevant departments; leaders of communes and towns.

According to the report at the conference, in the first 9 months of 2024, the district Social Insurance coordinated with the district's mass organizations to organize 38 propaganda conferences with more than 1,600 participants. Thereby, 246 new people were mobilized to participate in social insurance and health insurance. To date, the rate of laborers participating in social insurance in the district has reached 18.03%; the rate of universal health insurance coverage is 96.18%; the rate of laborers participating in unemployment insurance is 13.26%.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing, analyzing, pointing out existing limitations and proposing solutions to complete and exceed the social insurance and health insurance targets in 2024.

To strive to complete the assigned target by the end of 2024, reaching 20.3% of employees participating in social insurance and the universal health insurance coverage rate of over 96.55%, the District People's Committee directed agencies, units and localities to continue to promote propaganda and dissemination of legal policies on labor, employment, social insurance and health insurance to raise people's awareness, create social consensus for people to actively respond and participate. At the same time, improve the quality of health insurance examination and treatment to ensure the rights and satisfaction of health insurance participants when examining and treating at medical facilities in the area.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Ho Phuong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Insurance and comrade Bui Van Kim, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee requested agencies, units and localities to focus on leading, directing and organizing the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies; proactively coordinate with social insurance agencies to focus on promoting the target of developing the number of people participating in voluntary social insurance and health insurance; step up propaganda , inspection and supervision of the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies in the area.
